As President of the Australian and New Zealand Glaucoma Society it gives me great pleasure to invite you to the ANZGS 2021 Meeting which will be held as a virtual meeting on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st February 2021.
 
We have held Annual Scientific Meetings since 1993, in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The scientific content has always been of great interest and of a very high standard. Each day begins with the popular interactive case presentations.
 
Since Dunbar Hoskins presented the first Lowe Lecture in 1993 we have had a distinguished international Lowe Lecturer each year. For 2021 our Lowe Lecturer will be Dr Jeffrey Goldberg, Professor and Chair of Ophthalmology at the Byers Eye Institute at Stanford University and the Gillies Lecturer is Professor Robert Casson, Head of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Adelaide.
 
We are very grateful to the Convenors Professor Alex Hewitt and Clinical Associate Professor Paul McCartney from Hobart and conference organisers Kathleen Poon and Esther Gmelig for their hard work in putting the meeting together.
 
We look forward to our first virtual meeting on 20th and 21st February 2021 at what will be the 29th ANZGS Annual Scientific Meeting.
