It gives us a great pleasure to announce the 15th ISOPT Clinical – The International Symposium on Ocular Pharmacology and Therapeutics, The Retina Chapter to take place November 7-9, 2019 in Valencia, Spain. The meeting will be for those who: are interested in clinical research, wonder how drugs are developed, appreciate the opportunities and limitations of new technologies and are industry representatives and collaborators. A team of clinical investigators, clinicians, academy-based researchers, the industry and regulatory bodies will lead the presentations and discussions highlighting:
• Drugs and technologies that we own now and their best use in specific clinical situations
• Drugs and technologies that are in late phase development and their expected impact
• Defining and addressing the unmet medical needs that are still evident

The COPHy congresses will be devoted to evidence-based debates and discussions amongst session moderators, speakers and the audience, all of whom will examine and analyze the most relevant and controversial issues raised during the course of 2019 and 2020 within the field of ophthalmology. These educational congresses will continue to focus on Anterior Segment, Glaucoma and Retina, and will discuss controversies in other areas of ophthalmology, such as neuro-ophthalmology, ocular imaging and uveitis.

Second Advances in Glaucoma Research and Clinical Science Meeting
The Advances in Glaucoma Research and Clinical Science meeting is designed around the New Concepts in Glaucoma book series whose mission is to allow us to consolidate new information and hold forth on speculation in glaucoma. It does so in both the basic sciences and clinical sciences. It is our hope that this consolidation of hypotheses and theories, along with the identification of new information and new speculation will propel us toward a more rapid cure for glaucoma. The annual meeting will be built upon this mission by facilitating discussion/interaction and further dissemination of ideas and current research.
